In our story, Kapih’s village and forest are being attacked, getting burnt and destroyed by some unknown enemy soldiers. In the midst of this, his beloved anklet goes missing. All he wants now is simply to find his missing anklet. On this quest, he goes out on an adventure to find it and feed his curiosity about who is behind all this.

He soon finds out about a good king, Raam, who comes from a distant land searching for his wife kidnapped by a bad guy, Raavan, who happens to be the source of Vaanar’s problems as well. Its this Raavan’s army that is destroying his village and forest. Finding a common ground, he decides to follow Hanuman’s lead, who is heading the army, vaanar-sena, to help Raam’s cause.

His path coincides with many noteworthy events of the Legends of Ramayan and the story is of a warrior who, otherwise unnoticeable, is an important piece of the events. It is an unsung hero’s story.

Game Design

In a world of gaming complexities, we aspire to offer a game with simple yet fun mechanics, tight controls, never before seen visual and musical treat, in a potently nostalgic package.

We have all grown up with retro video games and among them one such genre, that is side scrolling 2D-Platformers, are rightfully  considered timeless classics.

In a completely different realm, we have also grown up celebrating two very important colorful festivals Dussehra and Diwali in India. We imagined, what if these two nostalgic worlds collide?

With Kapih, we pay homage to our beloved retro classics, retain the original but add modern design elements, with certain cultural connect.
